Installation | Healing Soundscapes (invited)

Healing Soundscapes are developed and implemented for waiting and working areas in the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf.
The installation presented at ICMC HAMBURG 2026 was developed for the waiting area of the emergency department and is played there 24/7. It is intended to create a positive atmosphere in the waiting area, thereby making the wait more pleasant for patients.
The Healing Soundscapes project is part of the interdisciplinary ligeti center, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) and the City of Hamburg as part of the Federal-State Initiative Innovative University.
