Biography
Joana Naomi Welteke is a Hamburg-based founder, performer and workshop leader who has an interdisciplinary background in art and social engagement. She initiates and creates participatory music and visual performances and installations. Her work focuses on (semi-)public spaces and the conceptual and technical development of community-building formats and participatory tools. Examples include the generative audio sampler “record-o-mat” and the “Video Sampling Groovebox”.
